On February, 21 a presentation "Museum Association “Moscow Museum” was organized in the UNESCO Headquarters with the assistance of the Permanent Delegation of Russia to UNESCO.

The exposition with the headline "The discovery of Moscow: Historical and Cultural Heritage" in the context of preservation of cultural and historical heritage in the city includes a number of lithographs, watercolors, photographs and postcards devoted to historical and architectural monuments of the XIX century. The examples of traditional Moscow clothes and crafts and daily life objects were also demonstrated.

The Deputy Permanent Delegate of Russia to UNESCO Y. Kolesnikov, vice-director of the World Heritage Centre K. Rao, general manager of the Museum of Moscow G. Vedernikova and deputy of the Moscow Municipal Duma I. Novitsky participated in the solemn opening ceremony.

The presentation of the Museum and the demonstration of the exhibition had a great success and aroused a significant interest among compatriots, members of the Paris diplomatic corps, public organizations, the French public and the officials of the UNESCO Secretariat.
